My daughter Tami's birthday is June 2. I drew her picture last year for her birthday. This year I decided to go way back to her first birthday, and draw her waiting in her highchair for her birthday cake, my Dad had baked for her. It was a 3 layer cake with 1 candle on top. Now, that I recall, this was taken after she was cleaned up and had eaten some of it. We didn't know then that she really didn't like chocolate. She didn't look too amused about it all. :-D!

Your babies are all wonderful, but this is definitely my favorite! The hair is especially lovely.

Artist Reply: I loved doing this picture Sandra. It had a feeling for me while I was drawing it like there was someting magical moving my hand. That seldom happens to me, but thank you for commenting! So glad you like it.

All of your babies are cute, and you do such a great job, but this one is outstanding!

Artist Reply: Trish, how wonderful of you to take a look back to some earlier ones. I appreciate that, and thanks so much, for writing a comment about this one in particular. How fast they go from this to adulthood. Thank you, again with my expressed gratefulness!!!

Wow this is great, they all look like real pictures, you do wonderful work....Deb

Artist Reply: Deb, thanks so much on this one! My daughter, she's very "persnicketty" about how she looks, so I really had to take my time. I still see things I should have fixed, but I thought I should quit or mess it up. lol! She liked it so I didn't argue.
