He was the best bounty hunter west of Third Hill, so he would be the natural choice for the villagers to hire to protect themselves from the scourge of the witch Sylvia. However, after a few days in her company and the confession of the elf mage who had been stalking her for two weeks prior, Rayas found himself believing Sylvia no more the evil mage than the creditability of vicious rumors. The villagers would not accept his analysis, but instead grew more anxious that the girl be removed, forcibly, from their village. With a heavy heart, he set out from the inn with handcuffs stored in his vest pocket, and regret all ready clouding his eyes. (quick drawing at work... colored in photoshop)
