West Blue Lake

Inspired by a kayak voyage. The memories of the voyage and actual colours I witnessed will make this work especially hard to part from...but, we must share mustn't we? 20 1/2" X 13 1/2 ", pastel on paper. Please contact artist to purchase @ [email protected]

This looks Wonderful. How neat those Beautiful effects in this great, Colorful High Quality Creation , Really Very Lovely!

Artist Reply: Hi John, Thank you for your wonderful comment. You've made me feel wonderful, topping off a lovely day with my husband. I haven't been able to paint now for years due to trembling in my hands. It's a lovely feeling to be able to hear praise again. I'm greatful to hear encouragement after being away from visual arts. I am also a musician and writer, so I can keep my artistic soul quenched, but losing the visual arts was quite devestating. I am thrilled to say that the trembling has lessened a great deal, and am looking forward to getting back to watercolours and painting. I have done one small pastel abstract. Right now, I'm starting to explore encaustic painting. It's really fun! I'm happy to be getting my feet wet again. Take care, and I'll be seeing you on your page, Sally

Thank you so much, Carol. Due to illness, I haven't been able to paint for a number of years, so it's nice to get some feedback again. btw, things are looking good for a recovery with control over my hands!!!
