Rock Creek Lake is located on the Eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevada Mountains at an elevation of 10,000 feet. This lake was formed through glacial action, which has since receded leaving behind this VERY popular fishing hole!

Nice shot and nice little lake, been there a few times. Did you know that Tom's Place is the only "non" city/town that's on the map ?

Artist Reply: Thank you for your kind comment. No, I had no idea that Tom's Place wasn't considered a city or town, but the camping and fishing at the various campgrounds just up the road, was enough to put Tom's Place on the Map!
