This is a portrait of my sister I did with pencil on 8 1/2" 11" cardstock paper. My reference photo was a snapshot taken at a restaurant.The arm she is holding belongs to her son, however I decided not to include him in this drawing, at the time it seemed too difficult for me to do so. I will try again sometime in the future when I have a little more experience with pencils.
