This lovely little pup is handmade from cinnamon/saltdough and measures 2 1/2"x 2 1/4". After the dog is formed, it is "baked" in an oven at a low temperature for several hours. Once it is completely dried/hardened it is handpainted and decorated with different embelishments. Objects made from saltdough will last for many years if properly cared for. Avoid excessive moisture (do not submerge in water) and treat it like it was made of ceramic or glass. It will chip/crack if dropped. The main ingredients in saltdough are flour, salt, oil and water. Cinnamon is added for coloring and scent. Non-toxic paints are used to finish the sculpture and it is not harmful to humans or pets if accidently ingested- It just tastes aweful!
