Artist Reply: Thanks Jerry. This Chateau, not far from Paris was built by Louis the XIV's finance miniter to impress the king and everyone else in his court. Unfortunately, the king was only impressed that his minister must have stolen the money and was trying to buid a chateau better than the kings. He was imprisoned and never had the chance to live in this beautiful Chateau and its magnificent gradens.
