Well, I'm officially grounded. The Achilles tendon has won the last battle, but I have a Dr. on my side now who says he will get me back in my hiking boots, sooner or later. I guess this is the best of times to recooperate, I need to be in shape when the roads to the higher mts. open up in May or June. So I will enjoy past hikes in the winter as I share them with you. This photo was taken earlier this winter (Nov. 06) just when we were thinking it was time to dust off the snowshoes. This is Hwy 410 that goes to Crystal Mtn. Ski Resort. It's closed beyond there until late spring/early summer. I'll be sooooo ready to get up there after I WIN the war with my heel.... :) Thanks so much for visiting!!!
