Wishing I Was There!!!

Well, I'm officially grounded. The Achilles tendon has won the last battle, but I have a Dr. on my side now who says he will get me back in my hiking boots, sooner or later. I guess this is the best of times to recooperate, I need to be in shape when the roads to the higher mts. open up in May or June. So I will enjoy past hikes in the winter as I share them with you. This photo was taken earlier this winter (Nov. 06) just when we were thinking it was time to dust off the snowshoes. This is Hwy 410 that goes to Crystal Mtn. Ski Resort. It's closed beyond there until late spring/early summer. I'll be sooooo ready to get up there after I WIN the war with my heel.... :) Thanks so much for visiting!!! I'd like your opinion on which photo is more appealing, horizontal or vertical???

I am for the horizontal shot myself I to like the larger view but they are both very good shots

Definitely horizontal, Mary!! Puts you right in the picture, the wide angle makes you feel as if you're there!! Hope your heel heals soon!!! ^_^

I like the horizontal better. You see more of the foreground which makes it feel larger..

the perspective draws you into this you can almost hear the wind and feel the cold
