Okami Amaterasu

Amaterasu from the game and Shinto mythology. Amaterasu in Shinto mythology is portrayed as a woman and is the sun goddess. The emperor goes to the Temple of the Heavens and gives tribute to Amaterasu once a year. In the game, Amaterasu is portrayed as genderless and as a white wolf who commands the Celestial Brush.
