Love the approaching colors, swarming, with a spirit of beauty, either turning away or the moment before seeing, always at the edge... Art et Amour Toujours
Artist Reply: Douglas, your comments are like fine poetry. What a great and gracious way of describing the work. I am stunned at how beautiful you have put a light on this work. My deepest gratitude for those beautiful words. Thanks so much. Michael
love this design work--I have heard the Kimonos are disappearing from the Japanese culture--what a shame.
Artist Reply: Joe, they don't dress in that fashion any more except in the private clubs, very expensive, but the kimonos are holy and woven with the spiritual icons within and are sacred so they are all tucked away in Cedar chests. Awaiting the special viewings. So that is a great thing. I have seen many collections being an Asianophile and they are like a lightly painted cloud. Just lovely. My thanks to you kind friend, you are a blessing to know. Your comments and you special work are a gift to me. Thanks good friend. Michael
