The budgie, grapes, and everything else are from a raw photo of the original. I made a black underlayer to correct light reflection problems from taking the picture. No digital painting is in this image. The original is pastel pencil combined with soft pastel on black paper. This technique simply makes the web image more true to what the original really looks like./2007
