RAIN PAINTING exterior murals

Under an extremely tight deadline, the conditions for this mural was not particularly pleasant. IT WAS RAINING!! The viewing was for the very next day, and I had been asked to gather some students and see what could be done. The only logical conclusion was to give up or actually try to make things happen. I remembered that spraypaint is the only solution under drastic environmental conditions. Train artists in New York suburbs painted under the upset administration of mayor Ed Koch in winter ice and snow, completing full top to bottom massive masterpieces in a night or two. I had absolutely no excuses with a little California cold and sprinkling. The paint held out surprisingly well and here is a portion of the nightime "Rain Painting" mural. The entire mural will be posted on Artwanted later on this year. HR-Arternatives 2007
