Several plays and productions need backdrops produced for the creation of an environment or setting. It is a pleasure to study and paint quick backgrounds for childrens holiday dramas, youth productions, theatre stages, etc. The paintings are usually done on canvas sheets, or custom molded framework and I normally paint by night, where I can concentrate and let the artwork take shape naturally.
