This was a presentation platform constructed and designed for the interior decor of a company office in Los Angeles. I had viewed an ancient egyptian mural found by archaeologists and decided to split it in half and paint it above the platform which was built around a HiFi speaker system. The trimming and paneled sections were treated with various fauxe finish marbling techniques and then covered in a polyeurethane clearcoat. The four woman figures were painted in a loose brushed organic style incorporating translucent golds, turq's, blacks and crimsons in order to tie in the entire concept and composition around this mirror. The platform design was highly favored and stands as a center piece in this modern yet historical music office. The actual layout drawing and thumbnail sketchings were put together in various places and timeslots. HR - 2007
