Fall on the River

digital photograph copyright 2006 Joanne Fort. This shot was taken on the Santa Fe River. The Santa Fe is spring fed so the water temperature is 68F to 72F all year long, which is the reason for the beautiful mists during cool weather.

Artist Reply: The Santa Fe River is about 25 miles NW of Gainesville, which is in north central Florida and home to the soon-to- be National Champions, the Florida Gators.
