This project is meant to express elements of myself through objects. However, i found this difficult as I do not define myself through many concrete objects. The dolphin has always been a passion of mine (see other works) The yin and yang represent a balance, circular motion, continuation, growth and decay inside and out. The lotus is a flower of purity, for the Buddha said we should all strive to be like the lotus, because even the most beautiful things in nature can grow from the dirtiest of waters. The red symbol in the corner represents they zodiac sign of Cancer, which I am. My eyes are naturally green, but I put in place a third eye to represent intuition and enlightenment. The space in the background represents the void. Water is my element. The hand is catching its energy, because it too releases energy and has the ability to heal.
