Rocks are wonderful objects to use to create abstract and textured imagery like this excellent piece. The gray tones add to the mystery and allow the viewer to project a multitude of imagery in this unique photo. I have a category just for rocks since their texture, colors and imprints offer me many images within the image, like a Rorschach, the well know projective test where people project their imaginative responses to 10 inblots. I can see so much in this piece and I could look at it for hours. I was immediately struk by the profile of a smiling Gorilla on the bottom right with his eye turned towards the viewer. This is a fabulous piece and I want to take time to look at your portfolio since I do similar work after giving the Rorschach for many years as a Psychologist and having the iconic vision to see imagery before I see the total picture. I use trees, bark, flower and rocks as my primary tools to create my projection catchers. I can see so much in this and if I had it, I would turn it around and on its sides to see a completely different perspective. Great work!!

The rock photos are all very interesting, but this is a favorite-great patterning & layering, fascinating! I'm amazed at how good the phone camera really is but I think your skills & artistic eye are great contributors especially.And we get the chance to travel the world through your photography!
