This is a superb presentation Bob, from one Aussie to another - you have depicted this awesome country we live in so well. keep up the great work.

Artist Reply: Thanks for the kind comments Zoe. I also know the Mornington Peninsula very well as I lived there for some years and is where I met my wife that at the time lived at Red Hill on White Hill road, a lovely spot that had wonderful views over Dromana and across the bay. Dromana at the time had a pizza shop that made the best pizza I have had or maybe it was the salt air that made them seem so good. Thanks again and I will post some more paintings soon. Bob.

Wonderful to see your lovely Australian art, Bob!

Artist Reply: G'day Emily. I just had a look at your site. Very good and very versatile, I love the picture Early mums in a rainbow. Very vivid. I have a thing for bright colorful art as you may have guessed. I work in acrylics and as there are a number of fluorescent paints available in this range I then mix them with the more conventually used paints to lift them and give them a sort of glow that is why they appear so bright. It was all trial and error for a while but I think I've just about got it worked out now. I will add some more paintings and possibly some of my digital art all be it not as good as yours, and thank you for your comments and your warm welcome. Bob Riddell.

Fantastic picture, bright or cheerful colors, great details and format!

Artist Reply: Hi! Jerry I just had a look at your work WOW you are so good. To think you do these in ball point pen beggars belief. With painting you can always cover a mistake but with ballpoint you must have to be so exacting. I couldn't do it, I am far to messy. Thank you for your comments, I like to keep my paintings bright and possibly a little overly so and find that this suits todays perceptions of art. Most or nearly all my paintings sell to the overseas market and very few Australians know of me or my works. I work in acrylics and as there are a number of fluorescent paints available in this range I then mix them with the more conventually used paints to lift them and give them a sort of glow that is why they appear so bright.
