St Kilda

This painting is of the Street in St Kilda, an Island steeped in history. The island is approx 30 miles from the coast of Harris in the Outer Hebrides and were inhabited until the dwindling population were evacuated. They had a very harsh existence and the buildings are still remaining with a church and schoolhouse with the old houses. This painting measures 14x18 inches without the frame, but comes framed and ready to hang.

Very impressive painting and it becomes even more impressive when you read the story of the island. Thank you for your comment on my work. Cheers, Ramaz.
