Light Is An Open Path

This is an oil painting done on a prepared paper surface. It was framed under glass so the image here has a slight neutral cast over it. I do not recall the original name given the painting, so I have retitled it. This painting I have always considered to be a mile stone, I think because I began to change over from oils to pastel painting. Actually this painting while painted in the studio was done from a pastel sketch on location.

I happened upon this randomly and I love it.. !! it's a beautiful setting and the rendering in small brush strokes really gives me the feeling of lightness

Beautiful work, great perspective and color. Makes you wonder where it leads to.

It has a whirling vortex kind of perspective on it, perfect for fall. Lovely colors and just the right amount of lighting and details to entertain the eye and stimulate the brain.
