(The Black Series No.2)the concept is pretty simple regarding the series... this is my reaction to my self obsession during the process of the product series... the constant self examination required for the particular project leaves me feeling disgusted with myself for thinking about ME and MY thoughts and MY feelings, just spending all of MY waking minutes thinking about MYself and MY life... this series is to balance me back out, so the product series isn't tainted (since the product series is meant to tell a story that just simply IS, not my feelings surrounding the story, at least not yet)... in the black series i wanted to show the shadow consuming its subject, with the idea of the shadow being our true selves, the little secrets we keep the little details about us that noone else knows,(i could go on for awhile here but i'll stop, perhaps full details will be on my website)and of course the subjects reflect myself, this piece in particular was to reflect on the relief this series gives me...
