THE image of the PREACHER is one that everyone in the United States can identify with. You can see a church on almost every corner; and we in America are free to chose where, when, or if we chose to join in a congregation and to give praise and worship to our Lord. This freedom is not universal around the world for many must meet in secret to worship if their faith is in the Lord Jesus. It is only Christians that are persecuted in today's "politically correct" worldview where all religions are acceptable except Christianity. Followers of Christ are systimatically and often violently attacked for their belief that Jesus is Lord, Creator, and Savior of mankind. THe forces of darknes will not prevail over God's divine plan to bless us with His love and salvation.

The spirit of the age is the spirti of Anti-christ which is present in the world today. Because of this rebellion against God, the name of Jesus is constantly being maligned and His followers persecuted. Many of the Lord's saints (all believers in Christ are called saints, not some religious icon or statue) have paid the price for their faith in Jesus with their very lives.

Let us thank God for the Preacher, for how will we know of God's will if we are not told, and who will tell us if no one is sent...The preacher is a gift of God..pray for all that deliver the words of salvation. Amen.
