A fresh summer,s day painting on the Yorkshire Coast near Robin Hood's Bay. The scene is fairly true to account except for the 'artistic licence' with the road's surfacing and width. Did you use a knife for the sky? The clouds look very real. Aren't they beautiful these yellow sandy paths winding through such a peaceful landscape? :)

Artist Reply: Hi again Anneke, Ref: View of the Bay. The sky was done with brush, only use knife for mixing color. Sandy road was imagination!lol. Original road has tarmac and road markings etc. Wasn't very attractive. Love your self portrait, beautiful eyes. Who gave you the flowers? lol. Mike.L
