Wheat and TARES...(c)..2006...Elton Houck

(c) 2006 Elton Houck...

"the Wheat and the Tares "

This one can be explained by the Bible anology of a field of wheat and weeds growing together, and the administrator is instructed to let the two grow until harvest and then separate the good wheat into the barn and then bundle up the tares to be cast into the fire....This is the church where we have Real believers who have repented and accepted God's grace and are the wheat...along side them in the pews are the tares, the unrepentant false believers who profess to be followers of Christ but it is only a false guise...At the end of the age angels will gather them into their place in the lake of fire, for they would not accept God's grace and refused to be converted but pretended to be His disciples. God knows the heart and He will reward each man his due. The time of playing religion is over....the soon return of Christ for his true church can happen at any moment...Let us all examine ourselves and make certain that we are the good wheat. Ask Christ to forgive you and make him Lord of your heart and soul. Hurry friend, time is short...today is the acceptable time for salvation, the sickle is ready to be cast down and reap the harvest!
