These wind-towers are traditionally square,presenting one face to each direction of the wind, this place was conserved and became a art gallery.

Interesting to see the goat herdsman seated in what was once a feat of modern technology! Lovely painting!

So fascinating this part of the world - once, many many years ago a leader in technology. Now, goats graze... 'course they grazed in the same places back in the day as well - anyway, nice one as always Francis - my dad illustrated in water-color very much as you do - wish I could get him to paint again - :0)
