Lost Horse Mine, Joshua Tree National Park

The Lost Horse Mine, named after Lost Horse Valley, located in Joshua Tree National Park was active from 1894 to 1931. It produced 10,000 ounces of gold and 16,000 ounces of silver. It is considered one of the best remaining examples of old mines in the United States.
