A friend gave me a photo of this little girl and her horse nearly 20 years ago. It was taken at a stables and I wish I had incorporated parts of that setting into the picture; however, I didn't want to distract from the adoration between two friends taking place here. My drawing was a 1st Place award winner in 1989. This image was made into a scroll saw pattern by Mike Williams.
