Elephant Grave

Available Original Art

MEDIUM/GROUND: Photo Manipulation (Enhanced Digital Photograph)

DESCRIPTION: It's said that an elephant never forgets. This is in part due to the affection they shower upon the bones of members of family groups that have passed away. Elephants have been known to leave the main group and travel hundreds of miles out of their way just to lovingly carress a pile bones and then some! Do they remember? Of that there can be no doubt. I remember too.

*Note: The elephant shown in the photograph died of natural, age related causes.

An excellent capture of a very special place! I believe them to be above mankind and hope they will one day inherit and preserve the earth...
