"Markees!!" The teacher had always pronounced his name out like that, and it only further enbarrassed him. He was to sing solo, infront of the whole church! He could feel his face growing hot, and the redness multiplying. "Begin!" She shouted, in a high ear-popping yell. He jumped up, stared into the crowd and took a deep breath. How was he every going to get over this fear of being infront of crowds. What if they didnt like his voice?! With one last breath, and an evil look from the instuctor, he began to sing. His voice held the highness of a boy, with a brush of the deepness a man held. It echoes through the church, and the crowd was amazed at how high a pitch the boy had. "Praise the Lord Our God, our Saviour For he will lighten the path we walk. Praise the Lord OurGod, our Savious For he is the voice that helps us talk. Praise the Lord Our God, Our Saviour Pray he'll protect our sould at night Praise the Lord Our God, Our Saviour He is the wings that bring our flight!" It was a simple song, but he was proud of it seeing as he made it 2 mins before the show. I like it, a whole lot. I hope you do. It could have been better, as all art can, but I like it. Comments please. Oh, and the back is not mines, found it on goolge. Marquis is the old master of Kilias and was shy and submissive when he was a boy (oddly the complete oppsite of his adult self; cruel, bitter, sadist ). Enjoy. (background not mines, silly)
