Tashlich IV

A community of Jews observe Tashlich at a moving body of water. They toss breadcrumbs into the water. The symbolism is that they represent our sins which we are casting away. Some Jews just empty their empty pockets into the water, but many like to toss breadcrumbs. This is done on Rosh Hashanah, the beginning of the High Holy days ending with Yom Kippur.
