Beautifully unsettling...love the use of darkness as hidden meaning, the stitching that holds the images in tune, the partial dissemenation of the figures gives a surreal quality to this piece... it is almost like a lovely nightmare...so strange and alluring, however. Excellent work. Hits the heart! like an Adam and Eve!! The day of the fall when things fell apart. Interesting how her face is a cross and his look like a theatrical mask of slumber...he having no mouth...they having body parts missing like they lost there wholeness their fulll life and love...Lamentable Love!!! Sharply and precisley cut into pieces of flesh that appear to be garments...yet they are naked....Really into depth, aren't you!!!
