Interesting watercolor.

Artist Reply: Thanks for commenting. Sorry it's taken so long to respond but I've been looking after my wee mum who had a bad fall and was very ill.

Great shot. Funny title.

Artist Reply: Thanks for commenting on my painting. The reason I gave it the title of Glasgow's Old Govan Cross is because that's exactly what it means. Glasgow had very prominent industrial towns and Govan was one of them regarding the Shipbuilding it produced. However, Glasgow has lost a lot of these prominent and industrial towns and Govan is no longer the way it was. This painting depicts, I hope, the hustle and bustle of days gone by.

Powerful street picture, great lines, shadow and perspective. Lovely image and story...

This is a beautiful street scene in grey tones! Well done, Elizabeth!

Artist Reply: This painting was a scene from Govan in Glasgow when it was a thriving area due to the Shipbuilding, it had a great community but sadly when the shipbuilding died the community died with it. This was done in watercolour pencils but I couldn't see a place to click on so it's described as done in watercolour.
