I wanted to break up the style I was using for my animal pics, so I wasn't in a set pattern, but the overall style was the same. So I went with a sea turtle, I just had the idea for a lazy looking turtle in the sea. I'm quite pleased with the "background" as it was a moment of true artistic inspriation for this natural cartoonist. I went with the oval shape as I felt a smooth round shape would better represent water instead of the squares I had been using.
