(c) 2006 Elton Houck...In New Orleans, the waters that gave life to the city were stirred by a dark brooding spirit. The waters surged in a fury and descended upon the city like a devouring. In a moment an overpowering flood swept across the proud city and became the life taker. The muddy blood water was a death shroud that covered the land like a devouring beast.
