This is a watercolor of a Woodcock resting in a pile of leaves in plain site. As long as it doesn't move it's virtually invisible. The drawing took me around 18 hours, and painting over top around 7 hours, so 25 hours to do this fairly small 16"(40cm) x 12"(30cm) painting .... That's long for me .... I'm much faster in oils.
