Jazz 2

This is a new series of work I created while listening to two of my favorite jazz albums by Miles Davis and Charles Mingus. The first one is most similar to my typical style. As I went along though, I found myself becoming less of an observer/listener to the music and more of a participant - creating improvisationally in tune with the energy of the jazz. 2006, 7" x 9", All rights reserved TORRANT.

have you seen Paul Grech's art on this archive? I think you should check him out... very nice guy and inspired by music completely in his work.

Artist Reply: Yes! Paul and I have had a few talks about favorite jazz legends - his work is quite amazing. I'm honored to have you make that connection!
