I have been commissioned to do artwork for an upcoming book on spirituality. This piece was done as specified by the client to compliment a key point in the book. This book is being written by an Indian mystic. As far as I've been made aware, the symbol is Sanskrit for the vibration that sounds like "HREEM". This vibration is very useful in healing. While drawing this shield in energy, one is to make the vibration with their vocal cords. Green, Gold and Pink are the three healing energy colours. Green belongs to the heart chakra, Gold belongs to the crown, and Pink is the colour for the third eye. Done in gouache on 35.6cm x 43.2cm white vellum paper.
