War Paint

There is a version similar to this floating around on the internet. I had a different image and idea in mind when I created this. I wanted the blue background and stars to be over the eagles eye, almost like a mask. The stripes of the flag naturaly follw the contour of the eagles head and feathers. A mask of the eagle was created and some embossing technigues were used to further enhance the look of the image. Created solely with Photoshop 7.0 *******Reproduction of this artwork is strictly prohibited*******

That's pretty awesome Patrick. I'd love to airbrush something like that one day.

Patrick..This should stand beside Uncle Sam himself! It is the best of all eagles that I have ever seen! Majestic work of art!....Joanne

Artist Reply: Joanne, Thank you very much for those kind words. Sometimes we, as artists, generate that one image that makes a huge statement and says something about ourself. Being a disabled Vet of the first desert Storm (USMC) an a police officer with Las Vegas Metro, I fought two wars...abroad and on our own soul, in our own cities...the war on gangs, drugs, violence and all the many wrong-doings against the innocent, hard working men, women, and children. Our families are at war with a growing society that makes it common-place to divorce, instead of working at relationships. O.K. enough of my psycho-babble. Thanks again. I would like to find out how I can get this on baseball caps and t-shirts. I know it will take alittle investment. Anyone have any information on this????
