Guardians of the Mist

In the Betweenworld, there are places where time no longer flows in the way human beings understand it. Here, rocks can preserve memory, while ancient figures frozen in stone continue to exist in the space between past and present. Guardians of the Mist evokes a world in which the boundary between the living and the inanimate becomes almost imperceptible. The towering stone forms resemble ancient human figures standing silently among the rocks. It seems that they once stopped here and became stone, yet did not disappear. Their presence can still be felt within the very structure of the landscape. Mist surrounds the figures, concealing some forms while revealing others. It becomes more than an atmospheric phenomenon — it is a threshold between the visible and the invisible, between what has passed and what continues to exist. Here, stone preserves time, mist carries memory, and stillness becomes simply another form of life. Guardians of the Mist is one of the stories of the Betweenworld, where an ancient world has not disappeared. It simply exists on the other side of human perception.
