Human as momentary blip? Probably as good an analogy as any. This is a 9 by 6 inches gel pen with charcoal pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art says, "If you're going to be a blip, try to be a nice one." And, yes, he's still moving about in northwest Austin, Texas.

Artist Reply: Emotionally 'something' by the look of it, Nikolay. I've done a couple more of these monochrome pieces so may upload those as well. Hope all is good or as close to good as possible. :)

Artist Reply: So far, drinking coffee and looking at videos on Art21 which is, of course, based in New York city. The first video I watched focused on Chicago-based artists. Sometimes I feel I'm either elitist and/or too rigid in my artistic thinking...but maybe that's a result of my age/experience as it has influenced my mindset. Ha. They need me on a video. A lot of them are not that articulate---or maybe I'm just focusing on the cliches I'm hearing. Or maybe I'd just clam up if someone pointed a video camera in my direction. Nah. Probably not. :)
