I drew a bunch of drawings for school kids once, just in black ink, and a teacher told me they took them back to their classrooms and colored them. I was rather pleased with that. Of course, this one has a bit more detail to it. This is an 8 by 4.5 inches gel pen drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art, keeping it simple AND complex, in northwest Austin, Texas.

Drawing BW portraits may always cause mad and uncontrollable coloring, especially by kids. I know it from my granddaughters, so watch out, Charles! Yours looks absolutely happy and comfortable.
