Believe it or not, humanity needs its poets and artists, if only to keep us honest. Well, sometimes I wonder if ANYTHING can keep us honest for long, but I digress. This is an 8 by 5.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art almost always finds himself in the throes of something or other here in northwest Austin, Texas.

Nice Charles,I've always wonder how Picasso felt when he realized he help changed the coarse of the art world ,you did one hell of job with his expression.;D

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ray! My ex did accuse me of being coarse on occasion, so you may be on to something. As far as the course of the you-know-what, the only way I could do that would be to flush it. That would take a Claes Oldenburg toilet and some very good plumbing. Hope you are doing great. :)

Agreed. Poets, artists, musicians, dancers etc ... all necessary to keep us human . For how long is right. So we need to be recharged as often as we can. I like the dot shading on this one, Charles : ) Hope you're staying cool today ! Pretty sweltering here in the Windy City ,,, back of my neck getting dirty and gritty lol

Artist Reply: Trouble is now anyone can proclaim themselves ARTIST in full caps and start producing tripe for mass consumption. I don't know why they call it 'the art world'. It should be called the non-art sewer. And that garbage doesn't fortify or recharge anything but certain bank accounts. Yeah, it's not cool here either. I'm probably the coolest thing around for miles but no one is basking in my coolness these days. Ha! :)
