We all do it but I feel I probably do it more now that I'm older. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original jones Art thinks that look isn't looking forward here in northwest Austin, Texas.

The military calls the 20 000 miles stare lol Charles very awesome portrait;D

Artist Reply: That sounds like a good way of expressing it too, Ray. Hope spring has sprung nicely for you. :)

Also qualifies for a "blank stare" or "inward look" as when the wheels are turning , Great depiction all the same , Charles : ) Hope your weather out there is accommodating . We're in for a solid block of rain over the rest of the week . Such is Spring here in Chicago

Artist Reply: I just came in from outside, Dave. The wind is blowing and it's a nice cool breeze but no sign of the wet stuff. I thought about leaving something out front overnight just to tempt fate but chickened out. I watched Logan's Run from the mid-70's today. My girlfriend at the time was an extra since they filmed some of the film at a new mall in Dallas, Texas. I drove up from Austin during the shooting and met William F. Nolan, co-author of the novel. It was rather a historic day because we also went to see the 'new' Pink Panther movie with Nolan. While standing in line, we heard on the radio that Rod Serling had died. It saddened Nolan as he and Serling were friends. Funny what watching a silly movie will bring back. :)
