A Late Cretaceous Migration

Here is a small group of Gryposaurus monumentensis moving through a Cretaceous forest with some broken trees in the background and plenty of ferns in the foreground. This artwork was completed in February 2025 with a combination of charcoal, carbon, and graphite pencils on an 11"x14" cold press illustration board. The dinosaurs were done in 2B to 6B charcoal. Most of trees were done in carbon from B to 6B with additional background items completed in graphite. This artwork appears in the most recent Prehistoric Times magazine issue #153.
