To take a risk or behave without caution. You never get very far if you don't take a calculated risk or two---or more. This is another of my 'compound' sculptures. It measures roughly 10.5 inches tall and the base is 5 inches in circumference. Original Jones Art still thinks any worthwhile endeavor involves a risk or two here in northwest Austin, Texas. This piece was actually made in 2021 but I'm just now taking pics. The camera was giving me fits today so hopefully they are okay---for non=government work.

Very cool Charles ... a lot to see here ... different perspectives , angles , and the photos are good and I like the shadows . Great work : )

Artist Reply: I thought it had a 'rough-hewn' look to it, Dave. Pre-accident, I took my photos outside in natural light but now I find squatting and rising difficult. I've rigged up a small table in the living room with both ceiling and floor lighting. And I have a mini-folding chair that's just the right height for me to get around on. Adapt or die trying. Laugh-In had 'The Fickle Finger of Fate' award. I thought this would make a nice award for someone who stuck his neck out for a good cause. :)
