Restoration & Combination

A friend asked me if I might be able to bring these 2 images together so that her Grandmother and Grandfather would be in the same image. This was the result. The original photos were from about 1900.

For what you had to work with I think this turned out very well... the biggest throw-off is the shadows being on opposite sides, but little could be done without flipping an image which might have thrown it all off :P Old photos are so much fun to work with though... nice work! :D

Neat work! It may require some tweaking... but you've done well! I like the end result!

The restoration is very ghod..but the images look to me like they are floating..I have done these where you had to put a common floor under existing characters and it is tough maybe a shadow or even a dual bust..at any rate for someone who is "just learning" you have a great eye for detail!! great job!

I've done some restoration work on some of the old photos I have for my geneology. It takes talent to do a good job. Looks like you've mastered the technique. Very good job
