Awww Joanie! Yes. Newfoundlanders are great rescue dogs! They are powerful yet very compassionate and sensitive so it is a winning combination! A lot of dogs seem to have this innate desire to protect of children and seem to do whatever it takes to keep them from danger! Dogs are just so lovely!:)
Ah Joanie. A year and a half! So yes..imagine he is full of energy! Glad he is a sweet boy too. He looks it! Awww! Your son had a Newfoundlander! They are so calm, gentle and easy going! My type of dog! LOL

It is large and likes to swim as it was bred as a fisherman's helper. They eat a ton and drool a lot soooo ha ha ha! I don't know. I live in a small apartment!
