this one is the one of the few that the uploaded picture does it justice. your work is amazing via pictures but seeing it in real life is so much more moving. this one moved me to my core when i saw it, when i held it. the paper texture is definitely a huge role in this piece. everything from the paper, to the paint, to the technique really makes this amazing. my all time favorite that's for sure. you've captured the power and wisdom within the elephant amazingly. the darkness and the glimpse of light is so powerful. great job Lucien! utterly beautiful!

I enjoyed meeting you and discussing the painting with you and how it was created, by mixing only the three primary colors to create the black used and then white as the accent color on the tusks and several areas on the elephant to add depth and perspective.
