A certain artist here on AW asked if I did 'women' and I answered, 'Not often.' So yesterday I started a drawing that could be considered female in nature. You guys have Mark Peterson to thank for this attempt. This is a 6 by 4.5 inches gel pen with color pencil drawing on medium bond acid-free paper. Original Jones Art still up for something slightly different in northwest Austin, Texas. Hey, at least it isn't Marilyn or Frida.

Lol ! I was just going to say what Ray just did ... only she was a brunette I like the texture and color in the hair , Charles : ) hope you have a great weekend

Artist Reply: I don't really do stereotypically handsome men and women so it's quasi-feminine in some respects, Dave. But I enjoyed working on 'her' nonetheless. :)

She looks like a old girlfriend i dated many many years ago nice drawing Charles

Artist Reply: Thanks, Ray! I had a blonde girlfriend in the early 80's she 'sort of' looks like. But then in the early 70's I too had long hair---though not as blonde. Hope you are being careful on this Friday the 13th. :)

Nice job Charles ~

Artist Reply: Well, I thought it wasn't fully in the terrible spectrum, Mark. And I did like the way I did the hair which, in itself, was worth the effort. Hope you are doing great. :)
