I used to come to this place often. It was a high ridge about a half mile from my childhood home place and it was my favorite spot for watching sunsets. There was a tiny abandoned farm house there - just three rooms. I often wondered about the people who had lived there. What were their lives like? What happened to them? Where did they go? I'd like to think they left for a better life someplace far, far away....... LIKE I DID.
